About The Position

Located on the Alyeska Resort grounds, Nordic Spa offers an individual wellness experience focused on relaxation and connecting with nature, oneself, and others. As a Nordic Spa Night Cleaner, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the facility is "picture perfect" for the start of each day. Your focus will be on upholding the highest standards of quality, cleanliness, and attention to detail to prepare guest areas for daily operations.

Requirements

• Able to lift, move, and handle cleaning chemicals responsibly.
• Ability to focus on attention to detail, remaining professional and courteous at all times.
• Must be highly organized and able to work well independently, under pressure and able to complete many diverse tasks concurrently.
• The employee is regularly required to be on their feet with frequent requirements to reach, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
• The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in a cleaning role, specifically in a Spa or Hotel preferred.

Responsibilities

• Completes work processes and checklists that seamlessly support the Core Value of Quality.

• Ensures all spaces, both guest facing and back of house are "picture-perfect" for optimal first impressions.
• Vacuums, dusts, cleans, sweeps, polishes, and restocks all guest areas and facilities.
• Cleaning of all public spaces including bathrooms, showers, floors, elevators, kitchens, and walls of all Nordic Spa Buildings.
• Assigned deliverables are executed in a manner that requires little or no follow-up; both in terms of timeliness and quality.
• Completes a monthly deep cleaning task list.
• Contributes to a collaborative workplace; supporting the Spa value of community, common goals, and acceptance.
• Other duties as assigned.
