About The Position

The Night Cleaner works as part of a team to maintain resort and hotel cleanliness at Skamania Lodge, a Pacific Northwest resort on 175 acres. The role cleans and maintains public and service areas, responds to guest requests, and removes soiled linen and trash. Housekeeping experience is preferred but not required.

Requirements

Housekeeping experience preferred but not required.
Time-management skills.
Ability to communicate effectively.
Ability to remain on one's feet for extended periods.
Ability to move, traverse, and position oneself to reach floor corners and high places; observe conditions and detect odors; navigate carts weighing up to 100 pounds in tight spaces; and operate spray bottles, vacuums, mops, brooms, dust pans, scrub pads, and dusters.
Ability to lift, carry, and position loads of at least 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

Work as a team to accomplish resort and hotel cleanliness.
Walk assigned areas at the beginning and end of each shift to collect bags, trash, and soiled linen.
Clean, deep clean, and care for floors in public areas, the Health and Fitness Center, back-of-house hallways, stairways, restaurants, Front Office, pre-function areas, and public and employee restrooms.
Deliver towels, cribs, cots, and other requested items to guest rooms.
Refill guest-amenity and supply par stock in each floor pantry.
Remove soiled linen and trash from service areas and take them to appropriate locations using the prescribed method.
Respond to guests and team members in a friendly and helpful manner.
