You will be responsible for ensuring a safe, quiet, and respectable night environment at the hostel in accordance with our policies, procedures, and mission statement. The Night Auditor/Cleaner plays a key role in ensuring guests have a comfortable stay by providing excellent customer service and assisting with their needs in a professional and courteous manner. This position includes front desk responsibilities such as greeting guests, checking them in and out, handling cash transactions, performing the night audit, and responding to inquiries in person and over the phone. Additionally, you will be responsible for cleaning public areas, assisting the housekeeping team, and maintaining cleanliness in our café to ensure a welcoming and hygienic environment for guests.
Requirements
- The ability to work independently with minimal supervision, and as a team member.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Prior cash management and customer service experience.
- Comfortable working by yourself.
- Available to work during the nighttime hours.
Responsibilities
- Ensuring a safe, quiet, and respectable night environment at the hostel.
- Providing excellent customer service and assisting guests with their needs.
- Greeting guests, checking them in and out.
