About The Position

HI Banff Alpine Centre is seeking a Night Cleaner/Security to ensure the hostel is kept clean and hygienic by performing housekeeping duties at night. While cleaning remains the bulk of the job description, security is an essential component, especially in a hostel with a bar on site. The evening shifts are from 22:30 – 06:30, with ample days and nights off for enjoying the outdoors or night life of Banff. This role reports to the Housekeeping Supervisor.

Requirements

• The ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Can manage your own workload and get the hostel clean in the time allotted
• Can handle night security, i.e., someone with patrol control experience (ideally)

Responsibilities

• Ensuring that the overall cleanliness of the Hostel is kept up to standard
• Responsible for ensuring the safe and secure environment our guests expect during the nighttime hours.
