About The Position

The Night Auditor performs all front desk related functions including but not limited to checking guests in/out, promoting sales related programs, maintaining guest records, and cash handling. This role is responsible for auditing the previous day’s receipts to verify and balance entries, running reports, and verifying the accuracy of information. The Night Auditor may also assist with breakfast setup, which could include food preparation, setup, service, and cleaning. This position is the only team member on property for the majority of the work shift and must be willing and able to work alone. The Night Auditor is responsible for guest safety and security during overnight hours and ensures an exceptional guest experience by providing courteous, efficient, and friendly service to all guests and potential guests in a professional manner. This role responds promptly and efficiently to inquiries, requests, and complaints with a +1 Service Attitude and contributes to maintaining a positive work environment for the diverse team and guests.

Requirements

  • Ability to take written and verbal direction.
  • Ability to speak English clearly and read English.
  • Ability to relate to the public in a warm, friendly manner in providing a hospitable environment.
  • Ability to give attention to detail and to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and efficiently.
  • Thorough knowledge of Drury Hotels’ policies and procedures for guest services.
  • Ability to handle money, make change, and utilize office machines in day-to-day activities.
  • Maintain the front desk lobby area in a clean and organized manner.
  • Comply with hotel’s safety and security rules and instructions.
  • Willingness and ability to work alone as scheduled.
