The MCR standard is to provide clean, friendly, well-organized and safe hotels for our guests. This role is responsible for completing all hotel audit-related reports by the designated time on the overnight checklist, ensuring overnight security measures are followed to maintain a safe environment for all team members and guests, and receiving and noting all incoming mail as required per the daily shift checklist. The Night Auditor must also adhere to general duties and expectations including guest relations, maintaining spotless cleanliness, ensuring product consistency and quality, and demonstrating strong teamwork. This includes greeting guests happily, using their names when possible, handling challenging guest situations, understanding hotel features, supporting events, and utilizing relevant technology. Maintaining clean workspaces, pitching in for cleaning tasks, and communicating effectively are also key aspects of the role. Accuracy in completing operational checklists and shift handover reports, along with wearing a flawless uniform and being well-groomed, are expected. A 'can-do' attitude, willingness to collaborate, and clear, honest communication are vital for creating a positive work environment.
