About The Position
The Night Auditor is responsible for providing exceptional guest experiences during the overnight shift. This role involves handling guest needs, questions, and check-ins, balancing nightly revenues, reconciling ledgers, and managing reports and financial summaries. The Night Auditor also ensures the security and confidentiality of the day's business.
Requirements
- Front office experience (6+ months)
- Basic accounting knowledge
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong communication and math skills
- Tech savvy with Excel and property systems
- Able to work overnight shifts reliably
Responsibilities
- Work the overnight shift (11 PM – 7 AM) as the go-to team member for guest needs, questions, and check-ins.
- Balance the books nightly—post revenues, reconcile ledgers, and make sure every penny has a home.
- Handle guest requests and complaints calmly and professionally (even at 3 AM).
- Manage reports, paperwork, and financial summaries.
- Keep things secure and confidential—you're the trusted closer of the day’s business.
