About The Position

The AC Hotel Times Square is looking for an experienced Night Auditor to join an award winning team. This position is eligible for transportation and food stipends. The Night Auditor will execute guest reservation, check-in, check-out, payment, and service procedures in compliance with brand quality assurance standards. They will maintain a friendly and hospitable attitude with guests and team members and be present at the desk during all hours. The role requires acquiring and maintaining knowledge of local attractions and amenities to provide service to guests needing such information. Additionally, the Night Auditor will ensure collections, including credit card and direct bill, are executed in accordance with company policies, maintain proper control over keys, safe deposits, and all company and guest property, and ensure rates are optimized by monitoring competitor occupancy and rates. The position also involves performing other duties as assigned to support guest satisfaction.

Requirements

Fire Life Safety Director License (FLSD) or successfully complete the class and obtain the certification within six (6) months
Proficient in administration of applicable property management systems
Ability to respond quickly and appropriately to emergency situations
Experience in accurate cash handling and credit cards
Experience in maintaining security of confidential information
Pass certification tests required to meet brand standards
Experience working with a computer especially data entry
Work well with others
Always maintain a customer focus and put the guests’ needs first
Approachable and encourage effective communication with guests and fellow team members

Nice To Haves

Marriott / Fosse Experience preferred
FLSD Licence preferred
