About The Position

The Night Auditor of Hershey Inn & Suites is responsible for conducting the front-of-the-house and heart-of-the-house financial audit for the property. Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
Post-Employment - Must obtain Responsible Alcohol Management Program (RAMP) Certification.
High School Degree or equivalent
Minimum of 1 year of experience in guest customer service.

Nice To Haves

Night Audit or hotel accounting experience is preferred, but not necessary.
Must be able to communicate well with both guests and employees.
Must be able to work independently and make decisions independently.
Familiarity with computerized front office systems, policies, and procedures preferred.
Must present a professional image appropriate to the Hershey Entertainment & Resorts standards.

Responsibilities

Post and balance room, food and beverage, and related taxable charges
Reconcile and balance all daily postings and activities
Post and balance accounts receivable vouchers
Generate and review daily reports for room revenue breakdown, packages, food & beverage, and retail postings.
Review daily Front Desk activity and reports, ensuring compliance with Hershey Entertainment & Resorts standard operating procedures, policies, and controls: Cash, Check, Credit, Bank, and Vending handling policies.
Addressing discrepancies/ variances in a timely manner.
Assist in overseeing and monitoring the ticketing process, including inventory, audit, and financial controls.
Ensure compliance with Department and HE&R operational policies and procedures as well as corporate Risk Management standards (MSDS, HazCom, OSHA, etc.) relating to the department.
Maintaining retention records to HE&R standards.
Answer guest phone calls and arrange wake-up calls
Welcome, check-in, and check out guests
Coordinate guest arrivals, departures, and reservations
Handle guest inquiries and resolve concerns to ensure a high level of customer service.
Perform other duties as assigned
