About The Position

The Night Auditor is responsible for maintaining a friendly, cheerful, and courteous demeanor while providing personalized service to hotel guests. This role involves managing guest check-ins and check-outs, handling financial transactions, answering inquiries, and ensuring guests have a positive experience, embodying DKN’s "Home Away From Home" philosophy.

Requirements

Nice To Haves

Minimum of two (2) years hotel front desk experience preferred.
Knowledge of hotel front desk operations and procedures.

Responsibilities

Greet arriving guests and complete check-in procedures.
Facilitate guest departures and close guest accounts.
Calculate and post guest charges accurately using proper cash handling methods.
Answer guest inquiries and take reservations via phone and in person.
Communicate hotel rates and information, utilizing suggestive selling techniques.
Maintain good guest relations by staying informed about hotel and local events.
Operate PBX equipment for incoming and outgoing calls, and assist with wake-up calls.
Control and balance cash and credit transactions at the front desk.
Run night audit final reports after ensuring all revenues are in balance nightly.
Provide assistance to other team members and departments.
Deliver DKN’s "Home Away From Home" experience.
Perform other duties as assigned, requested, or deemed necessary by management.
