About The Position

The Night Auditor is responsible for checking figures, postings, and documents for accuracy. This role involves recording, storing, accessing, and analyzing computerized financial information. The Night Auditor also controls and secures cash and cash equivalents for the property according to cash handling policy and procedures. They are responsible for organizing, securing, and maintaining all files and records in accordance with document retention and confidentiality policies and procedures. Additionally, the Night Auditor prepares, maintains, and distributes statistical, financial, accounting, auditing, or payroll reports and tables, and audits these reports and tables. A key responsibility is to audit and reconcile all revenue postings. The role also requires adherence to all company safety and security policies and procedures, reporting accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions, and maintaining awareness of undesirable persons on property premises. Following all company policies and procedures, ensuring a clean and professional appearance, maintaining confidentiality of proprietary information, protecting company assets, and safeguarding the privacy and security of guests and coworkers are essential. The Night Auditor must welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards, anticipate and address guests’ service needs, assist individuals with disabilities, and thank guests with genuine appreciation. Effective communication, both verbal and written, is required, as is developing and maintaining positive working relationships and supporting team goals. Compliance with quality assurance expectations and standards is also necessary. Physical requirements include the ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 10 pounds without assistance. Other reasonable job duties may be requested by Supervisors.

Follow all company safety and security policies and procedures; report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager; maintain awareness of undesirable persons on property premises.
Follow all company policies and procedures; ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional; maintain confidentiality of proprietary information; protect company assets; protect the privacy and security of guests and coworkers.
