About The Position

My Place Hotel is looking for a dependable Night Auditor to join their team. This is more than just a front desk position; the Night Auditor will be the face of the hotel overnight while ensuring guests receive outstanding service and the hotel is ready for a successful new day. The ideal candidate is organized, trustworthy, and enjoys a mix of customer service, problem-solving, and behind-the-scenes responsibilities.

Requirements

Comfortable working independently overnight
Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy
Strong customer service and communication skills
Basic computer knowledge and willingness to learn hotel systems
Great attention to detail, especially when handling financial transactions
Ability to stay organized and manage multiple responsibilities throughout the shift
Takes pride in keeping guests safe, comfortable, and well cared for

Responsibilities

Welcome guests with friendly, professional service during overnight hours.
Complete guest check-ins and check-outs while accurately processing reservations and payments.
Perform the nightly audit and balance the day's financial transactions.
Answer phones, assist guests, and respond to questions or concerns with professionalism.
Prepare daily reports and maintain accurate front desk records and logs.
Promote the Stay Rewarded Loyalty Program.
Conduct routine security walks throughout the hotel, checking entrances, stairwells, hallways, lighting, and the parking lot.
Help maintain a clean and welcoming hotel by completing light cleaning, laundry, stocking supplies, making coffee, and tidying common areas.
Assist guests with additional amenities such as towels, toiletries, cribs, or other requested items.
Report maintenance, safety, or guest service concerns to management.
