About The Position

The Night Auditor is responsible for checking figures, postings, and documents for accuracy. This role involves recording, storing, accessing, and analyzing computerized financial information. The Night Auditor will control and secure cash and cash equivalents for the property according to cash handling policy and procedures. They will also organize, secure, and maintain all files and records in accordance with document retention and confidentiality policies and procedures. Additionally, the Night Auditor will prepare, maintain, and distribute statistical, financial, accounting, auditing, or payroll reports and tables, and audit and reconcile all revenue postings. The position also requires adherence to all company safety and security policies and procedures, reporting accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions, and maintaining awareness of undesirable persons on property premises. Following all company policies and procedures, ensuring a clean and professional appearance, maintaining confidentiality of proprietary information, protecting company assets, and safeguarding the privacy and security of guests and coworkers are also key aspects of this role. The Night Auditor will welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards, anticipate and address guests’ service needs, assist individuals with disabilities, and thank guests with genuine appreciation. Communication skills are important, including speaking with others using clear and professional language, preparing and reviewing written documents accurately and completely, and answering telephones using appropriate etiquette. The role requires compliance with quality assurance expectations and standards.
