About The Position
The Stella Hotel & Ballroom is seeking a Night Auditor to join their team. As a Night Auditor, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the hotel during the overnight shift. This role involves welcoming guests, managing check-ins and reservations, handling late-night inquiries, balancing financial transactions, conducting security checks, preparing daily reports, and collaborating with other departments. The ideal candidate is a night owl with a passion for hospitality, strong numerical skills, and proficiency in Windows, spreadsheets, and word processing, with the ability to solve problems independently.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- 1 year in a hotel or related field.
- Proficiency in Windows, spreadsheets, and word docs.
- Ability to solve problems solo.
Nice To Haves
- College coursework beneficial.
- Supervisory experience is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests with warmth and efficiency during the overnight shift (11 PM – 7 AM).
- Handle check-ins, reservations, and late-night guest inquiries.
- Balance financial transactions and ensure accuracy in all numbers.
- Conduct security walks to ensure the property is safe and secure.
- Create daily reports, including the Daily Flash Report, for management.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and excellent service during overnight hours.
- Utilize Windows, spreadsheets, and word processing software.
- Solve problems independently.
