As the first point of contact for customers, the Night Auditor is responsible for providing welcoming and professional service, handling check-ins and check-outs, answering customer queries, managing bookings, and processing payments. This role ensures high-quality and efficient guest registration, manages billing, conducts credit-limit checks, and performs follow-up courtesy calls. The Night Auditor also delivers outstanding guest services for all incoming calls and general inquiries, maintains back-office and front desk equipment and supplies, provides service recovery options, and processes guest requests like wake-up calls. Key financial responsibilities include auditing third-party reservations, posting overnight valet charges, auditing reservation cancellations, charging no-show reservations, completing HMS End of Day Processing, exporting sales reports, and generating daily Flash Reports. The position requires maintaining a professional demeanor, collaborating with other departments, ensuring lobby cleanliness, and serving as a lobby ambassador.
