The Night Auditor is responsible for performing various tasks related to financial record-keeping and guest services during overnight shifts. This includes checking figures, postings, and documents for accuracy, managing computerized financial information, and controlling cash and cash equivalents according to company policy. The role also involves organizing and maintaining files and records, preparing and distributing financial reports, and auditing revenue postings. Additionally, the Night Auditor must adhere to all company safety and security procedures, maintain a professional appearance, protect company assets, and ensure guest privacy. A key aspect of the role is providing excellent guest service, including welcoming guests, anticipating their needs, assisting individuals with disabilities, and communicating professionally both verbally and in writing. The position also requires developing positive working relationships with colleagues and complying with quality assurance standards. Physical demands include moving, lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling objects weighing less than or equal to 10 pounds without assistance. The role may also involve other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors.
