About The Position

Schulte Hospitality Group is seeking a dynamic, service-oriented Night Auditor for Hotel Cala, a luxury hotel scheduled to open in Tampa in January 2027. The role combines overnight hotel accounting and front desk duties, supporting accurate end-of-day financial records and a welcoming, secure, well-maintained lobby. The position includes working nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year in an Accounting or Night Auditor role.
• Knowledge of a property management system (PMS).
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to multitask.
• Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
• Team player.
• Ability to exceed guest expectations.
• Basic accounting and math skills.

Responsibilities

• Audit the daily guest ledger.
• Handle end-of-day accounting functions, including posting daily room rates and room taxes.
• Ensure the accuracy of all charges to guest folios.
• Calculate the sum of revenues across accounts receivable from food, rooms, and other departments.
• Perform front desk duties, including checking guests in and out, booking reservations, and resolving guest issues.
• Make cash drops in accordance with proper cash-handling procedures.
• Organize the Front Desk area so the A.M. Front Desk staff can prepare for their shift.
• Monitor the hotel security camera system.
• Ensure the lobby is well-maintained and properly lit, with music at the proper volume.
• Work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Perform any other duties as assigned.
