As a Night Auditor, you will play a key role in creating lasting positive memories at The Olive Ann Hotel. You will be responsible for attending to the needs of our guests during their stay and offering our unconditional satisfaction guarantee.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 2 years previous experience in a similar role preferred.
  • Collaborative attitude.
  • Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to work proactively and independently while fostering a workplace based on teamwork.
  • Ability to meet the physical demands of standing, walking, squatting and lifting extended periods of time.
  • Ability to read, to answer phones, to write emails and other correspondence.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to work irregular hours, nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Structure and established policies.
  • Proficient in using hotel management software and computer systems.

Responsibilities

  • Assists with responsibilities and duties in the absence of or due to heavy volume in the areas of Concierge, Bell Staff and lobby coverage.
  • Perform nightly audits of financial transactions and reports.
  • Process guest check-ins and check-outs.
  • Assist with phone systems and direct calls to the appropriate department.
  • Maintain a clean and organized front desk area.
  • Arranges for luggage to be delivered to guest room.
  • Works closely with Bell Staff to ensure smooth handling of guest luggage, deliveries and special requests.
  • Maintain a balanced bank and verify the accuracy of guest accounts.
