About The Position
Residence Inn by Marriott in Columbus, IN is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Night Auditor to join our team. This part-time overnight role is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the front desk during late-night hours, completing daily accounting tasks, and delivering exceptional guest service. Requirements
- Previous front desk, hotel, or customer service experience preferred
- Basic accounting or cash-handling experience is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Comfortable working overnight shifts
- Basic computer skills (hotel software experience a bonus)
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
Responsibilities
- Greet and assist guests in a friendly, professional manner
- Perform late-night check-ins and early morning check-outs
- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and concerns promptly
- Balance and reconcile daily financial transactions
- Complete end-of-day reports and audit procedures
- Ensure accuracy of guest accounts and billing
- Maintain security and safety of the hotel during overnight hours
- Prepare basic reports for management review
- Assist with light cleaning of front desk and lobby areas as needed
