About The Position
We're looking for an autonomous Night Auditor with an open and empathetic attitude, who will be responsible for guest arrivals and departures, as well as recording the day's transactions and always being ready to respond to an urgent situation. This role requires a calm temperament and the ability to thrive in an unpredictable environment where initiative is an undeniable asset.
Requirements
- A valid driver's license and the ability to drive a manual transmission
- Strong communication skills in both French and English (spoken and written), due to interactions with English-speaking guests and colleagues across Canada
- Ability to handle unexpected situations creatively and professionally
- Autonomy, sense of organization, responsibility, and initiative - essential
- Positive and trustworthy attitude

Responsibilities
- Perform all night audit accounting tasks, including reconciling deposits, resolving account chargebacks, and producing reports.
- Ensure the security of the premises during the night, making important decisions in the event of an emergency.
- Check-in and check-out guests, verify and detail them, and ensure that internal activities run smoothly for seamless communication with the next morning's work team and colleagues in other departments.
- Manage entry and exit traffic in front of the hotel, greeting and informing guests with a smile, and providing parking procedures and other relevant information such as directions to sightseeing areas or access to main roads.
