About The Position
The Night Auditor plays a key role in ensuring smooth overnight operations while providing exceptional guest service. This position is responsible for front desk duties, balancing daily financial transactions, and preparing reports for management.
Requirements
- Previous hotel front desk or night audit experience preferred, but not required
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and handle overnight responsibilities
- Basic computer and accounting skills
- Excellent customer service and communication abilities
- Reliable, punctual, and professional demeanor
Responsibilities
- Greet and assist guests during overnight hours with check-ins, check-outs, and requests
- Balance and reconcile daily financial transactions, including room revenue and payments
- Run end-of-day reports and ensure accuracy of all accounts
- Respond promptly to guest inquiries, concerns, and emergencies
- Maintain a clean, organized, and secure front desk and lobby area
- Perform light housekeeping or property walks as needed
- Ensure safety and security procedures are followed throughout the night
