About The Position

Responsible for overseeing the financial aspects and daily operations during the overnight shift. This role involves processing guest check-ins and check-outs, handling reservations, ensuring accuracy in billing and accounting records, and responding to guest inquiries and issues that arise during the night. The Night Auditor also communicates pertinent information to the next shift and provides the highest quality of service to guests at all times.

Requirements

Able to lift and move items weighing up to 50 pounds.
Proficiency with reservation and accounting system.
Attention to detail.

Responsibilities

Organize the shift, and review and complete the following: remaining reservations, verify that all contingency reports have been run, resolve discrepancies with departments out of balance, verify no-shows and complete a walk report.
Reconcile daily financial transactions.
Process guest check-ins and check-outs, handle reservations and ensure accuracy in billing and accounting records.
Respond to guest inquiries and address any issues that arise during the night.
Communicate with next shift associates by logging pertinent information through hotel’s pass-along system.
Provide the highest quality of service to guests at all times.
Perform all other duties deemed necessary by management.
