The Night Auditor is responsible for checking figures, postings, and documents for accuracy. This role involves recording, storing, accessing, and/or analyzing computerized financial information. The position also entails controlling and securing cash and cash equivalents according to the property's cash handling policy and procedures. Additionally, the Night Auditor will organize, secure, and maintain all files and records in accordance with document retention and confidentiality policies and procedures. The role includes preparing, maintaining, and distributing statistical, financial, accounting, auditing, or payroll reports and tables, as well as auditing these reports and reconciling all revenue postings. The Night Auditor must also follow all company safety and security policies and procedures, report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions, and maintain awareness of undesirable persons on property premises. Adherence to all company policies and procedures, maintaining a clean and professional appearance, protecting company assets, and ensuring the privacy and security of guests and coworkers are also key aspects of the role. The position requires welcoming and acknowledging guests according to company standards, anticipating and addressing guest service needs, assisting individuals with disabilities, and thanking guests with genuine appreciation. Effective communication, both verbal and written, and the ability to develop and maintain positive working relationships with others are essential. The role also involves complying with quality assurance expectations and standards, and performing other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors. Physical requirements include the ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 10 pounds without assistance.
