The Night Auditor is responsible for checking figures, postings, and documents for accuracy. This role involves recording, storing, accessing, and analyzing computerized financial information. The Night Auditor also controls and secures cash and cash equivalents according to company policy, organizes and maintains files and records, and prepares, maintains, and distributes various reports. A key responsibility is auditing revenue postings and reconciling them. Additionally, the position requires adherence to all company safety and security policies, reporting accidents and unsafe conditions, and maintaining awareness of potential security issues. The role also involves upholding company policies, maintaining a professional appearance, protecting company assets, and ensuring the privacy and security of guests and coworkers. Excellent guest service is expected, including welcoming guests, anticipating needs, assisting individuals with disabilities, and expressing genuine appreciation. Effective communication, both verbal and written, is essential, as is developing positive working relationships and supporting team goals. Compliance with quality assurance standards is also required. Physical demands include moving, lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling objects weighing less than or equal to 10 pounds without assistance. Other reasonable duties may be assigned by supervisors.
