The Night Auditor is responsible for checking figures, postings, and documents for accuracy. This role involves recording, storing, accessing, and analyzing computerized financial information. The position also requires controlling and securing cash and cash equivalents according to company policy, and organizing, securing, and maintaining all files and records. Additionally, the Night Auditor prepares, maintains, and distributes statistical, financial, accounting, auditing, or payroll reports and tables, and audits revenue postings. The role also includes following all company safety and security policies, reporting accidents and unsafe conditions, and maintaining awareness of undesirable persons on property. Adherence to company policies, maintaining a professional appearance, protecting company assets, and ensuring the privacy and security of guests and coworkers are essential. The position requires welcoming and acknowledging guests according to company standards, anticipating and addressing guest needs, assisting individuals with disabilities, and thanking guests with genuine appreciation. Effective communication, both verbal and written, and developing positive working relationships with colleagues are also key aspects of this role. The Night Auditor must comply with quality assurance expectations and standards, and be able to perform physical tasks such as moving, lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling objects weighing less than or equal to 10 pounds without assistance. Other reasonable job duties may be requested by Supervisors.
