About The Position

The Night Auditor performs all front desk related functions including but not limited to checking guests in/out, promoting sales related programs, maintaining guest records, and cash handling. This role is also responsible for auditing the previous day’s receipts to verify and balance entries, running reports, and verifying the accuracy of information. The Night Auditor ensures an exceptional guest experience by providing courteous, efficient, and friendly service in a professional manner, responding promptly to inquiries and complaints with a +1 Service Attitude. This position contributes to maintaining a positive work environment for a diverse team and guests. The team member will be the only person on property for the majority of the work shift and must be willing and able to work alone, ensuring guest safety and security during overnight hours. At some locations, this role may be the only team member on property during the work shift. May also assist with breakfast setup, including food preparation, setup, service, and cleaning.

  • Ability to take written and verbal direction.

  • Ability to give attention to detail and to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and efficiently.
  • Thorough knowledge of Drury Hotels’ policies and procedures for guest services.
  • Ability to handle money, make change, and utilize office machines.
  • Must be willing and have the ability to work alone as scheduled.

Responsibilities

  • Audit the previous day’s receipts to verify and balance entries, run reports, and verify accuracy of information.
  • Ensure guest safety and security during overnight hours.
  • Provide courteous, efficient, and friendly service to all guests and potential guests in a professional manner.
  • Respond promptly and efficiently to inquiries, requests, and complaints with a +1 Service Attitude.
  • Contribute to maintaining a positive work environment.
  • Maintain the front desk lobby area in a clean and organized manner.
  • Comply with hotel’s safety and security rules and instructions.
  • Assist with breakfast setup, including food preparation, setup, service, and/or cleaning.
