About The Position

The objective of this position is to balance and close out the financial transactions for the day and to provide all hotel guests with courteous and efficient service to maximize guest satisfaction and ensure their return.

Requirements

Previous hotel/night audit experience is preferred.
Ability to move, lift carry, push, pull or place objects weighing less than 25 pounds without assistance. heavier lifting or movement tasks with assistance.
Ability to stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time.
Must possess a friendly and professional demeanor.
Must be able to convey information and ideas clearly.
Must maintain composure and objectivity under pressure.
Must be able to prioritize and multitask.
Must possess the ability to operate independently with a high-degree of self-motivation.

Responsibilities

Fulfill all duties and responsibilities of a Guest Service Agent.
Perform Bucket Checks to ensure all information in the Property Management System is up-to-date and accurate.
Properly balance daily transactions and close daily posting.
Create and transmit a daily Credit Card Settlement Batch.
Run a nightly backup tape of Property Management System.
Run the Audit after 2AM.
Research and try to account for any discrepancies.
Fill out DOR Report Coversheet (CYM only).
Print and distribute reports to appropriate managers.
Compile and assemble the Audit Pack for Accounting.
Email Express Checkout Folios to departing guests.
Issue loyalty points for guest recovery and hotel promotions.
Perform other duties as requested.
