The MCR standard is to provide clean, friendly, well-organized and safe hotels for our guests. The Night Auditor role focuses on ensuring happy guests, spotless cleanliness, product consistency & quality, and teamwork. This includes greeting guests, using their names, contributing to guest satisfaction, handling challenging situations, having strong hotel knowledge, supporting events, understanding relevant technology, and answering calls with friendly service. Team Members are expected to maintain sparkling clean workspaces, pitch in to clean guest rooms and public spaces as needed, and greet guests happily while cleaning. Operational checklists must be completed accurately and on time, and shift handover reports must be accurate for effective communication. All Team Members must wear a clean, approved uniform, be well-groomed, wear a nametag, and smile. Effective communication, a "can do" attitude, and collaboration are essential for creating a welcoming environment for guests and a positive workplace. Specifically for the Night Auditor role, all hotel audit-related reports must be completed and sent out by the designated time on the overnight checklist. Overnight security measures must be followed to ensure a safe environment for all team members and guests, including locking exterior entrances at designated times, following protocols for late arriving guests, and procedures for handling safety and security issues. The Night Auditor is also responsible for receiving and noting all incoming mail as required per the daily shift checklist.
