About The Position

As the Night Auditor, you will be responsible for reviewing the prior day’s financial records, ensuring accuracy and timely processing of all hotel operations data. You will interact with guests during check-out and check-in, aiming to leave a positive lasting impression and provide efficient service. This role requires you to be the primary point of contact for guests during the overnight shift, addressing their needs and questions. You will also act as a Safety & Security Agent, following hotel policies and procedures, and potentially serving as the "manager on duty" during overnight hours.

Requirements

Good verbal and written English communication skills.
Strong, accurate attention to detail.
Ability to handle cash or credit transactions.
Front office software proficiency.
Ability to exert up to 20 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 10 pounds frequently.
Ability to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.
Ability to exert force of up to 50 pounds when assisting with luggage.
Ability to work independently.
Ability to work long hours, many of which may be spent standing.

Nice To Haves

Experience in a hotel or related field.
An accounting background.
A valid driver’s license (if assisting with van service).

Responsibilities

Ensure all aspects of the hotel’s records of the prior days operations are processed timely and accurately recorded.
Inquire about guest stays during check-out and address any problems or complaints courteously.
Assist guests checking in during the overnight shift efficiently and helpfully.
Meet and exceed guest expectations by providing helpful answers to questions and assistance.
Follow hotel’s established safety and security policies & procedures.
Anticipate problems and call management as needed.
Take the role of "manager on duty" seriously if assigned during overnight hours.
Handle cash or credit transactions.
Assist with luggage, which may require exerting force of up to 50 pounds.
Assist with van service if required, which will necessitate a valid driver’s license.
