Night Auditor & Bartender
About The Position
HI Banff Centre is seeking a Night Auditor & Bartender to join their team. This role involves ensuring a safe and secure environment for guests during nighttime hours, managing check-ins and check-outs, providing advice to guests, performing nightly audits, and serving customers in the cafe and pub. The position offers opportunities for growth, including a Manager-In-Training program, and is ideal for individuals who are passionate about travel and connecting with people from diverse backgrounds. Requirements
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, and as a team member.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Prior cash management and customer service experience.
- Comfortable working by yourself.
- Available to work during the nighttime hours.
Responsibilities
- Ensuring a safe and secure environment for guests during nighttime hours.
- Checking guests in and out.
- Offering expert advice to guests.
- Ensuring guests have an enjoyable stay.
- Performing the hostel's nightly audit.
- Delivering high-quality customer service to cafe and pub guests.
- Waiting on and serving customers in a friendly, timely, and professional manner.
- Working closely with the F&B Manager, other bartenders, and kitchen staff.
- Ensuring excellent customer service, cleanliness, and adequate stock levels.
- Preparing and serving different types of drinks.
- Opening and closing of the bar, cashing out, liquor counts, restocking fridges.
- Providing exceptional customer service to cafe and pub guests.
