This role involves balancing and auditing room revenue, food and beverage revenue, and assisting in the preparation of daily revenue reports. The position also includes preparing audit worksheets and Daily Flash Reports. The Night Auditor/Overnight Security will assume the responsibilities of the Manager on Duty from midnight until the morning shift arrives, logging guest complaints, and performing Front Desk duties such as registering and checking out guests. Key responsibilities include auditing room and tax charges, cashiers reports, and guest/house accounts, as well as completing and transmitting daily management and accounting reports. The role requires communication with other departments to resolve discrepancies and facilitate security. Additionally, the position involves performing Guest Service Representative functions, potentially assisting with reservations and phone calls, managing departmental keys, responding to guest requests, handling confidential information with integrity, making daily deposits, verifying room charges and rates, managing daily paperwork, submitting reports to the corporate office, monitoring room availability, blocking rooms, performing security walks, knowing emergency procedures, preparing continental breakfast, and performing laundry functions. The role may require making management decisions in the manager's absence and maintaining a professional image.
