About The Position

This is a position in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) with day shifts. The role requires BLS & NRP certifications. There is a possibility, though rare, of floating house-wide for 1:1 coverage. Additionally, the nurse may float to the Pediatric unit to cover cases such as hyperbilirubin readmissions or Failure to Thrive, depending on the candidate's competence and comfort level.

Requirements

• BLS certification required.
• NRP certification required.
• 2 years of inpatient NICU experience required.

Nice To Haves

• Competence and comfortability with floating to Pediatric unit for specific cases.

Responsibilities

• Provide care in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU).
• Float house-wide for 1:1 coverage if needed (rare).
• Float to Pediatric unit to cover hyperbilirubin readmits, Failure to Thrive, etc., based on competence and comfort.
