NGS Bioanalytical Scientist
About The Position
Perform and support next-generation sequencing (NGS) workflows, including sample preparation, library preparation, sequencing, and data review. Execute routine molecular biology assays, including DNA/RNA extraction, purification, quantification, qPCR, and digital PCR (dPCR). Generate quality data to support IND and/or BLA filings. Communicate results and provide input to the team and project lead through meetings and in reports. Perform quality control assessments and troubleshoot technical issues as needed. Follow established laboratory procedures, SOPs, and quality guidelines to ensure consistent and accurate results.
Requirements
- Completed Bachelors in a scientific concentration
- Experience in Next-generation sequencing (NGS) technologies is required
- Experience with routine molecular biology assays, including nucleic acid extraction and qPCR/dPCR
- Strong skills in data interpretation and quality control
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, GraphPad Prism, and electronic laboratory notebooks.
- Experience with GxP and working in a regulated lab environment
Nice To Haves
- Familiarity with use of automation to generate data, perform data analysis, and notebook tracking to support test method execution
- Troubleshooting and reworking experiments based on data interpretation
- Experience analyzing and interpreting large data sets
