NGS Bioanalytical Scientist
About The Position
Eurofins Scientific is seeking an NGS Bioanalytical Scientist to perform and support next-generation sequencing (NGS) workflows. This role involves sample preparation, library preparation, sequencing, and data review. The scientist will also execute routine molecular biology assays such as DNA/RNA extraction, purification, quantification, qPCR, and digital PCR (dPCR). A key responsibility is to generate quality data to support IND and/or BLA filings. The position requires communication of results and input to the team and project lead through meetings and reports, as well as performing quality control assessments and troubleshooting technical issues. Adherence to established laboratory procedures, SOPs, and quality guidelines is essential to ensure consistent and accurate results.
Requirements
- Completed Bachelors in a scientific concentration
- Experience in Next-generation sequencing (NGS) technologies is required
- Experience with routine molecular biology assays, including nucleic acid extraction and qPCR/dPCR
- Strong skills in data interpretation and quality control
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, GraphPad Prism, and electronic laboratory notebooks
- Experience with GxP and working in a regulated lab environment

- Troubleshooting and reworking experiments based on data interpretation
- Experience analyzing and interpreting large data sets
