About The Position

This role involves overseeing and coordinating the daily operations of the national fulfillment center (NFC) to ensure efficient and timely processing of orders. The Specialist will manage and supervise the fulfillment team, monitor inventory, collaborate with other departments, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards. The position also focuses on continuous improvement, process optimization, and cost-effectiveness.

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent required
3 years of experience in a team leader role within a fulfillment center or distribution environment
Proven ability to lead and motivate teams, with strong communication and interpersonal skills
Expertise in inventory management systems and processes
Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
Excellent organizational and time-management skills
Working knowledge of relevant regulations and safety standards
Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies

Associates Degree in supply chain management or logistics desired

Responsibilities

Oversee and coordinate the daily operations of the national fulfillment center (NFC), ensuring efficient and timely processing of orders.
Manage and supervise the fulfillment team, providing guidance, training, and motivation to ensure high productivity and adherence to quality standards.
Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the procurement team to maintain appropriate stock levels.
Implement and maintain effective inventory management systems and processes.
Maintain and analyze operational data and metrics (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement and opportunities to streamline processes.
Collaborate with other departments, such as customer service and logistics, to ensure smooth order fulfillment and delivery.
Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations, quality standards, and operational procedures.
Develop and implement contingency plans for unexpected situations or disruptions.
Maintain accurate records and generate reports on fulfillment center performance.
Continuously seek opportunities for process optimization and cost-effectiveness.
