This role is for individuals interested in leading and participating in effective Young Life ministry through training and direct field experience. The position involves spiritual development, leadership development, resource development, direct ministry, and ministry support. It requires adherence to Young Life's Statement of Faith and policies, focusing on evangelism and discipleship. The role includes developing a personal spiritual growth plan, leading teams in spiritual development, recruiting and training volunteer leaders, raising financial support, engaging in direct ministry activities like contact work, club, Campaigners, and camping, and managing administrative tasks with stewardship and accountability. Training opportunities include mission-wide and regional events, as well as individualized training supervised by the area director. A college degree is preferred, and proven relational skills, communication skills, and the ability to maintain confidentiality are required.
