About The Position

TechnologyAdvice is seeking a driven Newsletter Sales Account Executive to lead ad sales for their newly launched B2B newsletters. This role offers an opportunity to be involved early in shaping the strategy for a high-growth media channel. The Account Executive will connect advertisers with engaged audiences and help establish the newsletters as a top-tier media property. The position involves owning the full sales cycle, from identifying prospects to closing deals and growing accounts. While the primary focus is on newsletters, there will be opportunities to expand client relationships across TechnologyAdvice’s broader marketing solutions, including lead generation, sponsored content, and digital advertising. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys matching advertisers with the right audience, building long-term partnerships, and being part of a fast-moving launch.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in media sales, digital advertising, or newsletter sponsorships.
  • Track record of hitting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Excellent communicator with a knack for relationship-building.
  • Comfortable selling both pre-packaged and custom solutions.
  • Passion for newsletters, digital media, and helping clients win.
  • Strategic thinker who understands how to sell based on audience alignment and campaign objectives.
  • Agile professional who thrives on continuously pivoting strategies to drive business needs forward.
  • Must be currently authorized to work in the United States at hire in an employer approved US state and must maintain authorization to work in the United States throughout employment.

Responsibilities

  • Sell ad space in newly launched B2B newsletters to new and existing clients.
  • Own the full sales cycle: prospect, pitch, close, and grow accounts.
  • Build a deep understanding of each newsletter’s audience to position it effectively.
  • Identify high-fit advertisers and develop tailored proposals that align with their marketing goals.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (Client Success, Marketing, Editorial) to ensure smooth campaign execution and renewals.
  • Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly revenue targets.
  • Stay informed on industry trends and use insights to shape sales strategy.
  • Grow accounts into broader, multi-product partnerships across TA's full media and demand gen ecosystem.
