About The Position
WSET ABC 13 in Lynchburg, Virginia has an exciting opportunity for a Newscast Production Assistant. This role involves preparing the studio for weeknight and weekend evening newscasts, maintaining the studio, operating robotic cameras, and serving as a teleprompter operator. Other duties and shifts may be assigned. Training will be provided on Ross Overdrive to become a fill-in director.
Requirements
- Must be able to work weekday evening and weekend evening shifts
- Other hours as needed, on occasion
Nice To Haves
- Education and/or internship in television or related field preferred
