About The Position
WXXV-TV, a Morris Multimedia station, has an immediate opening for the position of part-time news production assistant. This role involves supporting all aspects of news gathering and production, learning and mastering multiple areas of broadcast operations, and contributing to daily newscasts.

- Interest in news, current events, and broadcasting
Nice To Haves
- Previous television or media experience
- Coursework or degree pursuit in Broadcasting, Communications, Journalism, Media Production, or a related field
Responsibilities
- Edit video for daily newscasts
- Create graphics for broadcast
- Assist with audio and video playback in the control room
- Operate studio equipment and production systems
- Support all aspects of news gathering and production
- Learn and master multiple areas of broadcast operations
