Requirements
- Solid News Judgment
- Strong Writing Skills
- Time Management & Multitasking Abilities
- Leadership & Communication Skills
- Adaptability
- Proficiency with non-linear editing (e.g., Avid) and newsroom systems like iNews.
Nice To Haves
- Some experience producing news at a commercial TV station is preferred, though entry-level candidates with the right skills may be considered.
- A journalism degree is preferred, but equivalent experience is welcome.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day production of newscasts, setting the content and flow of each broadcast.
- Collaborate with management, anchors, and on-air staff to generate stories and produce engaging content for our website.
- Take ownership of newscast quality, ensuring each broadcast is both informative and visually compelling.
