About The Position

WSET is looking for a Newscast Director to join their team. This role involves directing and TDing assigned newscasts and special productions using Ross Overdrive, as well as performing various other production duties. The position requires maintaining studio and control room equipment, acting as a studio floor manager, operating robotic cameras, and serving as a teleprompter operator. Other related tasks may also be assigned.

Requirements

• Experience directing newscasts
• Knowledge of production standards and equipment
• Ability to clearly give direction to crew while under pressure
• Ability to read and write
• Must be able to lift & position equipment of up to 40 pounds
