About The Position
The Citizen is seeking a reporter to join its award-winning staff in Auburn. The role involves covering the Cayuga County area of Central New York, including rural areas and lakeside villages. While the newspaper prints three times a week, the primary focus is on producing content for the website, auburnpub.com. The ideal candidate will possess storytelling experience and a passion for small-town journalism. Responsibilities include covering a variety of topics such as local government, business, crime, and arts and culture.
