About The Position
WLOS/WMYA has an exciting opportunity for a part-time News Production Assistant! This role involves operating the teleprompter and floor directing for newscasts, as well as preparing for newscasts by ensuring the studio and set are ready and maintained. Training will be provided for this position.
Requirements
- Must be able to work on weekends
- Other hours as needed, on occasion
Nice To Haves
- Education and/or internship in television or related field preferred
Responsibilities
- Operate Teleprompter for our (Morning, Evening, Weekend) Newscast
- Floor Direct for our (Morning, Evening, Weekend) Newscast
- Prep for newscasts including but not limited to: Studio and set preparation, Maintaining studio
- Other duties as assigned
