About The Position

Gray also owns Gray Digital Media, a full-service digital agency, and additional media properties such as video production companies (Raycom Sports, Tupelo Media Group, PowerNation Studios) and studio production facilities (Assembly Atlanta, Third Rail Studios). KKTV, the dominant CBS affiliate in Colorado Springs, Colorado, is seeking a hybrid digital content/broadcast producer to join its growing team. The ideal candidate will possess both broadcast producing and digital content producing experience, a passion for local journalism, and a strong work ethic. Essential skills include demonstrable writing abilities, knowledge of video editing, and experience with content management systems, including social media. Requirements
- Associate’s degree in journalism, mass communication, or a related field
- Previous local news experience
- Previous experience creating/editing photography, graphics, and video
- Broadcast producing experience
- Digital content producing experience
- Demonstrable writing skills
- Knowledge of video editing
- Experience with content management systems, including social media

- Bachelor’s degree preferred
Responsibilities
- Develop multimedia content suitable for KKTV’s digital and social media platforms.
- Develop broadcast newscasts.
- Assist reporters and anchors in creating content for all platforms, including social media.
- Edit text, audio, and/or video as needed for all platforms, including social media.
