About The Position
WBTV is searching for a unique television newscast producer with strong editorial experience. If you’re calm under pressure with excellent writing and organizational skills, this position is a solid fit. Requirements
- At least 2 years of live television newscast producing experience
- Schedule flexibility is a must
- Must be able to work overnight, holidays, and weekends as well as some overtime
Responsibilities
- Develop creative, compelling, memorable newscasts
- Deliver creative content for all platforms
- Respond effectively to breaking news situations
- Generate story ideas through various sources; discern credible news tips
- Collaborate with technical and marketing staffs
