WECT is looking for a driven, creative photojournalist/videographer to join our award-winning news team. Requirements

• Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and a passion for storytelling
• Strong communication skills on the phone, in the field, and in the edit bay
• Ability to thrive under deadline pressure, both solo and as part of a team
• Valid driver's license

Nice To Haves

• Experience in news or video shooting/editing is a plus, but not required

Responsibilities

• Capture the story - Gather compelling video, conduct interviews, and collect information in the field
• Edit with purpose - Cut and package content for broadcast, digital, and social platforms
• Go live - Set up and execute live shots that put viewers at the center of breaking news
• Collaborate and lead - Work both independently in the field and as a key contributor to the news team
