About The Position
The Newborn Hearing Screener, under the tutelage of a licensed Audiologist, is responsible for assessing all newborns for hearing using Otoaccoustics Emission and/or Algo hearing screeners. The role involves documenting results in the Electronic Medical Records and log, communicating with the Audiologist about missed patients for follow-up appointments, and maintaining a tracking system.
Requirements
- High School Graduate or GED
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS)
- Proficiently read and write in English
- Legible handwriting
- Moderate data processing/typing skills.
- Ability to meet public, communicate clearly with people and other professionals.

- Experience in a healthcare setting
