About The Position

Brooklyn Sports & Entertainment (BSE) is seeking interns for its New York Liberty Seasonal Internship program for 2026-2027. This paid, part-time program runs from October 14th, 2026, to May 13th, 2027, with flexible start and end dates based on academic calendars. The internship is located at the Industry City Corporate Headquarters in Sunset Park, Brooklyn. Interns are expected to work 20-40 hours per week, with a hybrid schedule involving both in-office and remote days. Each intern will be assigned to a specific department for the duration of the program. Requirements

  • College seniors, students engaged in graduate studies, or recent graduates.

Responsibilities

  • Support community activations, charitable giving, ticket distributions, and the Brooklyn Nets & New York Liberty Foundation’s 50/50 Raffle.
  • Track and communicate the team’s community impact efforts.
  • Build relationships with community organizations.
  • Collaborate across departments to bring impactful Liberty programs and initiatives to life.
  • Support digital initiatives, season planning, and integrated campaigns.
  • Assist with campaign development, asset management, fan engagement, and event marketing.
  • Support the planning and execution of NY Liberty tentpole campaigns.
  • Manage marketing assets and schedules.
  • Research industry best practices.
  • Assist with sweepstakes and fan engagement activations.
  • Provide onsite event support.
  • Maintain campaign tracking materials.
  • Help develop recaps that capture campaign performance and impact.
  • Support the management and growth of corporate partner relationships.
  • Contribute to sponsorship marketing strategies and activations.
  • Assist with partnership management, client services, and creative ideation.
  • Support Liberty sponsor accounts by contributing to marketing strategies, partner events, client requests, and ongoing partner communications.
  • Research growth opportunities.
  • Develop end-of-season recap materials.
  • Contribute creative ideas and planning for future Liberty partnership initiatives.
  • Support communications and media relations efforts surrounding Liberty players, offseason basketball activities, community initiatives, and organizational programs.
  • Assist with sports communications, storytelling, media relations, and player-focused PR.
  • Monitor media coverage.
  • Track player statistics and storylines.
  • Identify compelling media opportunities.
  • Develop press releases, advisories, player bios, and other communications materials.
  • Support player media relations, community events, partnerships, and organizational initiatives.
  • Help tell impactful NY Liberty stories throughout the offseason.
