Role Overview: Are you ready to lead change and shape the future of clearing operations? We’re looking for an experienced and collaborative leader to join us as New York Head of Operations for LCH Ltd. In this role, you’ll guide operations across Listed Rates (FMX), SwapClear, ForexClear, Collateral Operations, and act as a key local point for CDSClear and LSEG Post Trade Solutions. While each business line has its own functional leadership, you’ll be the trusted escalation point for critical issues, represent us with regulators, and help design a local operating model that supports growth, resilience, and innovation. Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience in financial markets operations, ideally across multiple asset classes (Rates, FX, Credit).
  • Proven ability to lead diverse teams and manage complex operational environments.
  • Deep understanding of CCP operations and clearing processes.
  • Skilled at building relationships and influencing across functions and geographies.
  • Experience in regulatory engagement and operational risk management.
  • Passion for creating an inclusive culture and supporting talent development.

Nice To Haves

  • Strong expertise in Listed Rates Derivatives is a plus, given the strategic build-out of FMX.

Responsibilities

  • Lead New York operations for LCH Ltd, supporting multiple clearing services and acting as a trusted partner across the Markets Division.
  • Be the escalation point for operational incidents and customer issues, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
  • Represent LCH Ltd in regulatory discussions and maintain high standards of compliance.
  • Work closely with the local Head of First Line Risk to review and evolve the local operating model, ensuring resilience, resource adequacy, and alignment with business growth.
  • Champion a strong control environment and operational risk management as a top priority for 2026, embedding a consistent risk culture across teams.
  • Drive improvements in processes, tools, and governance to enhance efficiency and resilience.
  • Foster an inclusive environment that supports career development, learning, and progression for all team members.
  • Collaborate on strategic initiatives, including the build-out of the Listed Rates business (FMX) and other growth opportunities.
