About The Position

ASML’s Optical/Optomechanical New Product Introduction (NPI) Engineer works within Strategic Sourcing & Procurement and collaborates with Development & Engineering and suppliers in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary product development environment. The role develops and maintains supplier relationships and drives industrialization of optical components and parts, integrating supplier technologies and processes into ASML product development projects. The primary goal is to secure excellent quality in parts delivered by suppliers. The engineer is the primary point of responsibility for effective engineering collaboration between optical suppliers and ASML, from early supplier involvement through product design and maturity. As a member of the D&E project team, the role works with suppliers to leverage their technology and processes, and ensures quality, manufacturability, and serviceability are addressed during design.
